Philanthropy
Alpha Phi's philanthropy is not only working to help support a great cause, but it's also a time for Virginia Tech's community to work together. In the Spring, we host our annual Keep The Beat Week where greek and non-greek organizations compete in several events to raise money for the Alpha Phi Foundation. While competing to raise the most money, VT organizations are able to work together and become a stronger community all while working for a great cause!
In the Fall, we invite our family and friends to the classic Red Dress Gala where sisters can spend time getting to know each other's families as well as helping support the Alpha Phi Foundation. The weekend of the Gala is also a time where parents can attend a hokie football game and a brunch at the Alpha Phi house. Overall, the weekend is full of great events, where girls can not only bond with their sisters, but spend quality time with their families.
Our philanthropy is what I love most about being in Alpha Phi because I can work to support a great cause, all while doing it with my sisters. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
